Actually, from a pure curiousity standpoint, I'd really like to see an Rdram + Althon chipset... Just to see how much slower than CAS2 PC2100 it was

Rambus issn't all that fast.I have two different 820 chipset boards that support rambus and I have two 820 boards of the same make that support sdram.One of the sdram boards supports pc133 memory and it's smokes the rambus boards without overclocking.The other board only supports pc100 memory and it's just as fast in most cases as the rambus boards.
The boards I've been hammering on are one asus p3ce,one intel vc820,two asus p3c2000's. All have the same amount of memory-512megs,same video card,same sound card,same harddrive.

i dont think this is no surprise, seeing that p4's are at the starting point of being mainstream, flame on amd zealots, cuz intel is on the come back. BTW i do own a athlon, and i bought it when intel was worse than amd, but if i were to buy a new computer next year it will be intel based with out a doubt.
