Good lord, another post-ER story! For those that don't know, I'm a freaky-console fan, and I've been collecting nightly console links for a long time for different sites. So, desperate to find an outlet for my consolidated evening reading, we've come up with this here post. Enjoy.

- Cube.IGN is reporting that Namco will be showing Soul Calibur 2 for the GameCube at next week's Tokyo Game Show. - Digital Extremes has posted an update on Unreal Championship, their upcoming Xbox title on their site. - Some new (and quite impressive) direct-feed gameplay movies from the GameCube launch title Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II are up at both Cube.IGN and GameSpot. - According to this PSX.IGN story, Sony has announced that they will be bundling their PSOne system with an LCD screen for $199. - For those of you with six Playstation 2 consoles and six televisions (!), IOGEAR is now selling a six-port iLink (aka IEEE 1394 or FireWire) hub. This can be used with the few PS2 games that support iLink networking (including Gran Turismo 3).

    I see alot of console bashing. Thats stupid.

    I'm not a big console gamer, but I guess thats because I've always had a computer. The last console I owned was a SNES, and before that I had a mattell intellivision. So see, I'm no expert on console games.

    But console games are video games at their purest level. A game built for a proprietary uniform system, simplified and amplified to make the most of what they've got. Like an arcade. I love the arcade for the Video Games. I suppose you anti-console nazis go for the ticket machines that buy you cheap shit from behind the counter.

    I like video games, pure and simple. And I think everyone else here does too. So forget your petty shit about consoles v. PCs and go out and snag a PS2 or preorder an X-Box or a Gamecube and play so fun fucking games already. You guys aren't supposed to be consumer reports rag, you are video gamers, and true video gamers aren't system racists.
