I know some cartridges have a "tilt" function built in somehow...and I was thinking the other day that such a function could give you a more mouse-like control scheme (using the tilt to simulate 180 degrees in each direction, or at worst...an analog joystick-like setup for turning). I don't know how well this would work, but it could be really cool if done correctly. Regardless, I think the controls should be customizable, right down to the DPad. Someone needs to do a port of the original Civilization, but with multiplay, for this thing...that would be kick-ass!!!

I've been seeing these "Life Advanced" ads for the GBA where the player's world changes according to what game they're playing - a church with a snowboarder, an airport where people jump on each other and toss things at their enemies Mario-style.

But I don't think the world-warping effect of DOOM is exactly what anyone wants to advertise...

"Use your pistol to kill your enemies. Pick up their shotguns and use them to kill your other enemies." All superimposed over a peaceful urban environment...

That's an ad we're not going to see any time soon.

Damn, and I thought the original Doom was pixelated. ;) I'm sure it's pretty cool on a GBA though...

I'm just wondering how you can play this on a Gameboy with like... 3 buttons.

Shouldnt this be a big news post? These are the first released doom screenshots for the GBA.. I think thats pretty special. Oh and the screenshots look rather pixely since they are stretched out for the n00bz under us:)
