red fashion for the ps2 was like butter. excellent game.

If this game runs at more then 15 FPS then it will show mow much faster my PC is then a PS2. The PS2 version has massive slow down in multiplayer.

Some of these screenshots reminded me of Doom1 episode 1 level.......6? (actually I'm not sure which level it is, but it had the "nazi symbol" "come down" from the ceiling - it had a swamp and a small maze near the end.

the way the sky / rock is in some screenshots looks firmilliar.

Hmmm...why don't I remember Red Faction screenshots looking this cool?

This will definetly be one of the best FPS's to come out this year. And it's a good thing too, quake3 has finally started to bore the shit out of me. Not saying its a bad game, just finally bored of it.

I wanted this game until i played it on the ps2 first, ughhh it is slow in multiplayer, two player splitscreen (aside from being annoying, as most all 1st person multiplayer split screen experiences on a console are) was kinda sluggish. 20 fps max and if you think it was higher you need your eyes checked. The game itself was average its not going to make too many ripples in the pond unless theyve improved it a lot for pc. Geo mods? really cool at first, then you realise how limited they are. You hear previews saying YOU CAN BLOW HOLEZ ANYWHARE!!!! but you cant really, certain predefined areas only. However i have to hand it to them for at least trying something new, and i do think this stuff will be important in the future, for a first step its not bad but this stuff needs to be refined a lot more, then geo mods would be cool.
