With Creature Isles, Designer-Legend Peter Molyneux wants to ..blah .. enhance B&W or something.
The official addon, which will be released in October this year on CD, contains additional features
and presents not only the player, but also the creature, with new challanges. The following about the
gameplay is known at this point:
The singing missionaries, who set sail in the first part, discover a new Island one day, a very strange one.
There are no gods in this realm, but a circle of mysterious creatures, which live together in some form of brotherhood.
The creatures of this brotherhood are able to do magic and have abilities never seen before, and they also posess a great knowledge and intelligence.
Soon you have to see that your own creature, too, can learn all this, but there is a price you have to pay: Your creature has to join the brotherhood. Before that, you will have to go through a lot of adventures (when you are part of the brotherhood, your creature will receive a tatoo)
A special challenge for your creature in Creature Isles is the raising of it's own creature. Your creature gets a little creature, which imitates your creature, learns from it, and also resembles it's shape.
You (the player) are busy as well, with establishing yourself as a god of the newly discovered realm - there are still 'normal' citizens on the island, which don't know gods yet.
Peter Molyneux comments on the so called Mini-Sequel as follows: "Creature Island allows us to further extend the AI of the B&W creatures. Furthermore we integrate new features and new spells and abilities. We want this Mini-Sequel to deliver whole new gameplay elements to B&W - And it will"
