Dreamcast Price Cut
by Maarten Goldstein, Jan 30, 2001 11:40am PSTLooks like Sega will slash the Dreamcast console prices once again, this time to just $99. They are doing this to get rid of excess inventory. Sega had hoped to sell 7.5 million units in the US by March 31, however so far there have just 4.5 million units sold.

Regardless of how Sega mismanaged the Dreamcast, the console is a ton of fun, with +400 games and quite a few sweet titles due out in coming weeks. Check out the forthcoming Illbleed if you're into survival horror, and if you like FPS games, see these shots of Outtrigger: http://www.sega-rd2.com/week/2000_05/vol022_outtrigger.html
/end Sega love ;)
