Bah... These articles always leave out the true classics. Where is Warlords? Games such as Heroes of Might and Magic and Age of Wonders stole all of their gameplay from Warlords. SSG spawned both the turn-based fantasy strategy genre (Warlords, HOMM, AOW etc) and the 4X Space Strategy Genre (Reach for the Stars, MOO, BOTF etc). Warlords 2 Deluxe remains the greatest turn-based strategy game of all time (besides, perhaps, Civilization).
