by Steve Gibson, Nov 10, 2000 4:50am PSTSince its the topic that wont die, here's the latest on the presidential scandal. With a re-count of all 67 counties in of Florida the new numbers come up with only 327 votes between Bush and Gore. Thats it right? Done? Oh no...
The Bush campaign reacted immediately, calling on the Gore campaign to give up. The Gore campaign responded saying, "This is just the beginning."We've got those 19,000 throw out votes to deal with, the absentee votes to deal with, and lawsuits to deal with. Its not over, and I doubt it will ever be over. Whoever comes out on top of this will have this hanging over their head for quite a while.

IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT! WTF is wrong with people? That dumbass I saw on CNN last night who has a lawyer and is talking of how he was "tricked" by the ballot should be }rASHAMED to show his face on TV! My God! This is why we have the Electoral College. The ballot is pretty damn straight-forward with clearly marked arrows. If you can't figure out the ballot, I don't think your vote should count. Jesus.]b

They say every vote counts. But not every vote is counted. ;)
I said that, and it's still true. That's why we are having this debate in the first place. Gore tried to do just that. He tried to win just the big states with the most EC votes. He didn't win. Our system works perfectly. Bush will win because he won more of the states. Gore nearly beat him by going after only the larger FC voting blocks.

Anyhow, it's very difficult to get them to understand the whole Electoral College thing. :) "It's a mechanism put in place in by the fathers of this country to make sure that the uneducated (and poor, and unworthy, whatever) would not actually elect the President." hehe

I need to build a model of shakespeare's globe theatre, so I was thinking I could do it on the computer. Does anyone know of any programs for PC that would let me design a building and then allow me to make a an .avi of walking through it?
I know there is a programa like that for macs, I used it a few years ago. Basically I should have a bunch of premade brushes and stuff like furniture and walls and stuff...any help would be appreciated. Suggestions on where to <cough> get </cough> this program would also be great..
