The video games industry is always subject to some pretty awesome deals starting in October and running all the way into January. Thankfully, virtual reality is getting into the mix this year with some deals spread across software and hardware. HTC Vive isn't missing out on this Winter party and is offering up savings galore on the Viveport subscription platform including a special deal that nets you 3 months free if you spend $29.99 on in the Vive store.

No matter what you purchase in the store, if it is above $29.99, you'll receive a code for 3 months of Viveport in early 2018. Some highlights include the newly launched L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files and The Gallery Episode 2: Heart of the Emberstone. The store has discounts of up to 80% on a large range of titles, so go do some damage. Even better, HTC Vive is giving developers 100% percent of revenue share until December 31, so this is a great time to support creators. The free Viveport deal is only available in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and China.

If your library is pretty stout already and you just want to grab the Viveport subscription alone, don't fret. The 12-month subscription is discounted 40% with the three and six-month subs being cut down 30% for the holidays. The 12-month sub allows access to 60 titles, six gets 30 titles, and three opens you up to 15 total. New purchases will add on to your existing sub as well, if you have one.

If you want to add an Oculus Rift to your virtual arsenal, there are some holiday deals going on over that way as well.
