HAL Laboratory has created Hal Egg, which will focus on new characters for smartphones and launch its first in the Fall.
HAL Laboratory, the Japanese developer known for Kirby and Earthbound, has announced a new offshoot called HAL Egg. The new division will be focusing on mobile games and will launch its first this fall.
Reported on GoNintendo, the news also reveals that this new offshoot will be focused on new characters. Fans of HAL’s previous works may find that disheartening, but they’ve done well with characters before so it's exciting to see what they can do next.
