Destiny 2 - How to Access the Farm Social Space

How to access the Farm in the Destiny 2 beta.

The Destiny 2 beta is underway for those that pre-ordered the game to receive their beta keys and, after finishing the Homecoming mission, players are wondering how to access the new Destiny 2 social space called the Farm.

Destiny 2 - The Farm

The Farm will be replacing the Tower as the main social space when it comes to Destiny 2. If you’ve played the Homecoming mission during the beta, you know that the Tower has undergone some renovations via rogue Cabal contractors.

While the Farm will serve many of the same functions as the Tower did in the original Destiny, it does add a few things to do that weren’t previously available. For example, you could kick a soccer ball around in the Tower, but at the Farm in Destiny 2 you’ll be able to play soccer, which is a big upgrade.

The Farm will also feature important NPCs, such as Postmaster Darbi 55-30 and Cryptarch Tyra Karn. You may remember Tyra Karn from the Rise of Iron social space, the Iron Temple. We’ll also go out on a limb and say that Amanda Holliday will make her way to the Farm, given that she seems to have survived the Homecoming mission from the Destiny 2 prologue.

Another notable upgrade to the Farm is the fact that this space can hold up to 26 Guardians at one time, whereas the Tower could only hold 16. That’s an upgrade of 10, and makes the idea of playing soccer far more reasonable.

However, the Farm is not available for the entire beta. This new social space in Destiny 2 is only going to be accessible to players for one hour on July 23. This space will open at 1 p.m. EDT that day, which is 10 a.m. PDT for those on the West Coast. We’re sure to find out more about this social space once we gain access to it, and hopefully that will include more details about Hawthorne and the Exo-Stranger.
