Update: Boss Key's Cliff Bleszinski and Arjan Brussee are holding an AMA on Reddit right now.

Original Story: Boss Key Productions has been hard at work on its PC shooter LawBreakers, having just concluded its second closed beta this weekend. While the PC version seems to be shaping up quite well, BossKey has decided to add a PS4 version to its previously PC-only title.

While the company still has not announced a release date for the gravity-defying FPS, publisher Nexon said that the game would launch on both platforms for $30, and that all future add-ons and DLC would be free. And before you ask, that will eliminate the need for any type of season pass. There will be no "pay-to-win" aspect, as the game's "stash-box" system will allow players access to all the game's cosmetic items.

If you haven't had a chance to try the beta, the game will be available at E3 for some hands-on time.

“With LawBreakers, we wanted to honor the skill-based FPS games of yesteryear, all while embracing the new and pushing the genre in our own unique way,” Boss Key chief Cliff Bleszinski said in a press release. “We found that messing with gravity, and having it mess with the player, adds a dynamic vertical element that will challenge players of all skill levels to go above their limits. Add in a variety of character role play-styles that go beyond the basic ‘tank, sniper and medic,’ a price point that we feel is fair to the player and the fact that it’s just damn fun to play - we’re confident LawBreakers will be one of the best valued and most challenging FPS games on PC or console.”
