Elden Ring Version 1.06 patch notes improve multiplayer summoning & invading

Elden Ring may have come out earlier this year and received stellar praise from players and critics across the board, but that doesn’t mean FromSoftware is done improving the game. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware continue to listen to player feedback and implement upgrades and tweaks as they see fit in order to make it a continually better game. Such is the case with the Elden Ring Version 1.06 update, which has rolled out today and aims to improve co-op summoning and PVP invades among other things.

With Elden Ring Version 1.06, players should be able to invade and summon for PVP and co-op respectively in a wider variety of places.

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware dropped Elden Ring Version 1.06 and its accompanying patch notes on August 9, 2022. The headliner of these notes is the improvement to co-op and PVP. Players can now invade and send co-op summon signs to multiple new areas, including distant areas where neither could be done before. In addition, players can now advance White Mask Varre’s questline without being forced to utilize an invade to do it. There are a lot of other changes too. Check out the full notes just below:
