Dead by Daylight Update 6.1.0 patch notes massively rebalance perks

Published , by TJ Denzer

Dead by Daylight is getting a little long in the tooth these days. The game has been kicking around for more than six years and with that much time behind it, it has amassed a huge array of survivor and killer characters and the perks they can use. That said, quite a few perks have become what one would call “essential” to a winning kit for both survivors and killers. With Dead by Daylight Update 6.1.0, Behaviour Interactive aims to break the meta up a bit. Killers have been buffed and quite a few perks, including the most popular ones, have been adjusted.

Behaviour Interactive recently dropped Dead by Daylight Update 6.1.0 on all platforms, as well as its accompanying patch notes. For a “mid-chapter update,” this one does a lot of rebalancing. Killers got a couple general buffs, including speed when breaking pallets/walls, and damaging generators. Basic attack cooldowns have also been adjusted. Perks were also majorly adjusted. From Barbeque and Chili to Self-Care, a number of popular perks have been adjusted to try to shake up the meta. Check out the full notes below.
