Battlefield 2042 Update 3.01 patch notes takes aim at hit detection

Following Battlefield 2042’s rather shaky launch, EA and DICE have worked to smooth out the rough edges of the game wherever they can. To that end, a new set of patch notes have launched. Battlefield 2042 Update 3.01 will arrive soon and with it comes fixes and tweaks to important matters like bullet hit registration and quite a few more upgrades.

EA and DICE put up the Battlefield 2042 Update 3.01 patch notes in a blog post on December 8, 2021. The update is officially set to launch on December 9, 2021 across all platforms and brings with it a number of very important changes, including an improvement of hit detection on gunfire.
