Saturday's Minecraft Live presentation continued with more exciting announcements for Mojang's blockbuster (no pun intended) franchise. That includes what's next for Minecraft Dungeons, which will include Seasonal Adventures.
The first of the Minecraft Dungeons Seasonal Adventures will debut with the upcoming Cloudy Climb update. Seasonal Adventures will see players look to complete Battle Pass-like challenge tiers for cosmetic goodies, in-game currency, weapons, and more. Adventure Ranks can be built up over time, as players complete seasonal and weekly challenges. Players can also explore an all-new Adventure Hub and take on the daunting challenges of the Tower, which will feature multi-level obstacles across new and existing biomes that players can tackle for rare drops.
Minecraft Dungeons recently concluded its DLC content, wrapping up the Arch-Illager saga with the release of the Echoing Void update. However, the game looks to be far from finished. Dungeons recently launched its latest Halloween event, Spookier Fall, and there looks to be more new content coming beyond that. The Cloudy Climb update will also be adding new flairs, pets, and more.
Minecraft Dungeons' first Seasonal Adventure will kick off in December and while Dungeons' DLC packs have been premium offerings, all Seasonal Adventure updates will be free of charge. You can learn more about Seasonal Adventures on the Minecraft website.
