Hello Games dropped the No Man’s Sky Frontiers Update 3.6 on September 1, 2021, though it was teased back at the game’s 5th anniversary celebration. The new update’s biggest feature is interactable settlements. Not only can you discover and engage with a settlement’s inhabitants, but you can also aid them, gain their trust, and become a sort of space mayor of the community.
