Call of Duty: Modern Warfare version 1.20 patch notes

Infinity Ward dropped Call of Duty 1.20 on the Infinity Ward blog on April 28, 2020. There’s a host of balancing changes, bug fixes, and other updates, but the most notable change was to how bounty contracts work in Call of Duty: Warzone. Where originally you took the contract and it would randomly mark a squad for you to eliminate for cash and prizes, the bounty contracts in Call of Duty Warzone version 1.20 are gone in favor of the Most Wanted contract. Now if you pick up a Most Wanted contract, you will be marked as the bounty for any surrounding squads. In order to win the contract and its prize, you have to survive the allotted time.

It’s an odd change to be sure since bounty contracts encouraged encounters as opposed to allowing players to hide their way to victory, but we’ll see how it plays out in the coming weeks. You can check out the full list of changes in Call of Duty version 1.20 below.
