Wednesday's Nintendo Direct rolled along with the long-awaited reveal of Super Nintendo games finally coming to Nintendo Switch Online. While Nintendo has gradually updated its online service with classics from the original 8-bit NES, there has been a clamor for games from Nintendo's sophomore 16-bit console. That cry has been heard and new Super NES games are now avaliable.

Many of the Super NES games offered come straight from the Super NES Mini, such as Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Star Fox, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. But there are also a handful of new games set to hit the service, some of which have never been seen their original release. This includes the elusive Stunt Race FX, which hasn't been seen since it was originally released.

Here are all of the Super NES games set to hit the Nintendo Switch Online service:

Aside from Stunt Race FX, Super Soccer and Super Tennis are being re-released for the first time since the old SNES days. On top of that, Super Puyo Puyo 2 will be available for the first time ever in the United States, having never been released stateside in the 90s.

As is the case with the Nintendo Switch Online service's NES offerings, a handful of Super NES games containing multiplayer will receive online support. Players can engage with each other through voice chat by using the Nintendo Switch Online app. As for those using single-player games, the recently-added Rewind feature will be available.

More games are expected to join the Super NES library in the future. Whether they'll come at the same methodical pace as the NES counterparts remains to be seen.

Nintendo Switch Online gets Super NES games starting tomorrow. Nintendo is also set to release a special Super NES controller for $29.99 straight from the Nitnendo website. Nintendo Switch Online is available for $19.99 annually.
