StreamElements and Make-A-Wish have announced a new partnership that kicks off with a week-long charity live stream event. The goal of the campaign is to raise $50,000 for the children's charity over the next week and over a dozen influential streamers have signed up for the cause. StreamElements is providing a collection of tools and assets including themes, overlays, chat integrations, donation functionality via Tiltify, and other in-stream integrations to ensure visibility and engagement for the campaign. The event kicks off on June 17 and will end on June 23.

StreamElements and Make-A-Wish aim to raise $50,000 for charity this week on Twitch.

"With the growth of gaming and streaming-related wishes amongst our wish children, it is clear we need to be an active participant of this incredible community,” explained Michel Rudolphie, President and CEO, Make-A-Wish International. “We are delighted to work with StreamElements to help share our mission and get support from the streaming community. With their help, we can achieve our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child.”

"Make-A-Wish has been doing amazing things for children with critical illnesses for years, but with all of the internet noise it's easy for the current generation to lose sight of this," said Doron Nir, CEO, StreamElements. "By helping Make-A-Wish International partner with live streamers to reach their incredibly giving fans with our audience and community activation tools, we hope to shine a fresh light on their incredible work and to help them achieve their goal."

In addition to enabling charity fundraisers with a whole new toolset, StreamElements has created a custom t-shirt to aide in the fundraising efforts. All profits from the sale of the shirt will go directly to Make-A-Wish International and the shirt will be for sale on participating streamers merch stores as well as at the official StreamElements website.

Streamers who have already signed up for the event include P4wnyhof, Sweet Anita, Kaakmans, Makarimorph, MrGregles, KiwaPlay, Ron_Plays_Games, Paoloidolo, Hotted89, Kandyland, NymN, and JakeeYeXe. The campaign is open to any streamers who want to participate, and be sure to check out #makeawish on Twitch if you want to provide some support by tuning in. We wish everyone involved the best of luck in raising their $50,000 fundraising goal. Do it for Shacknews!
