Microsoft details Xbox Game Pass for PC during E3 2019 event

While the service had its initial launch last year for the PC platform, Microsoft detailed the revamped version of Xbox Game Pass for PC during its E3 2019 press event in Los Angeles today. The service will cost $4.99 a month for unlimited access to the PC Xbox Game Pass library and PC game access will also be included in the new $14.99 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which offers Xbox Live and Game Pass access for console users. More than 100 games will be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Beta access to the Xbox Game Pass service on PC begins today and Microsoft is launching a revamped version of the Xbox App on Windows 10 PCs. Major titles such as Metro Exodus and Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on the service from day 1. Microsoft also confirmed that the enhanced PC version of the Master Chief Collection will be available via Game Pass when it launches later this year.
