The Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019 live stream is kicking off with some of the best Mario players in the world competing. You can watch the live stream right here at Shacknews.
This Super Mario Maker 2 world championship is part of a series of streams by Nintendo. There is also a Splatoon 2 stream happening as well as a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate live stream.
There are four players competing in the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational: the Completionist, Abdallah, thedragonfeeney, and Yellowkillerbee.
The Invitational is split into three distinct rounds, including the final. Round one has the four players competing in speed runs. Round two has the players split into two teams. The groups of two will work together within their teams to complete the course. The winning team gets to move onto the final.
For the final of the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational, the last two players will compete once more. The courses consist of three objective-based mini-courses with one final course. What's really great is that all of the courses players compete in have been crafted by Nintendo's Treehouse team.
