Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC would be great, wouldn't it? Kind of makes you wonder why Rockstar Games hasn't been talking much about it. Fan demand for the Old West release to come to personal computers hasn't declined since the game first released, but Rockstar is keeping its lips sealed. However, new rumors and evidence concerning a RDR2 PC port continue to appear, and the latest arrives in the form of a work credit on a former Rockstar developer's LinkedIn page.
According to a report from PC Gamer, the LinkedIn credit in question — which has since been removed — belonged to physics programmer Nan Ma. Though he no longer works for Rockstar, his credited work with the studio notably included the following credit, which reads "Red Dead Redemption2 [sic] (PS4, XB1, PC)."
Despite a lack of details regarding an upcoming PC port, we've long believed that a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the works. It would be unlike Rockstar Games to make such a huge release and not bring it to PC, arguably one of the biggest ecosystems in modern gaming. Considering how well past titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5 are still selling on PC, there's pretty much no chance that Rockstar won't be bringing the game over to personal computers at some point.
Of course, until Rockstar Games actually comes out and announces the damn thing, we're still going to be waiting with bated breath for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. The latest evidence of its existence certainly bodes well for computer gamers, so we're eager for the developers at Rockstar to go ahead and announce when it will become available.
