The next challenge that we’ll be showing you how to complete is part 2 of a two-part challenge. After finding a signpost with a treasure map, players will be tasked to search the X on the treasure map signpost in Paradise Palms. Finding the location can be a bit tricky if you don’t know where you’re going, so we’ll walk you through all the steps right now!
As mentioned above, before you can complete this challenge, you’re going to need to complete part 1. The first portion of the challenge tasks you to search the treasure map signpost found in Paradise Palms. Once you’ve done this, it will reveal a nice hand-drawn map for you to follow. We’ve included an image of the map below to make it easy.
As you can see, the map depicts what appears to be a road and two buildings. Anyone who has been playing Fortnite for a bit will probably recognize this location as Frosty Flights, the small airfield located along the southwestern area of the island.
Head to the location and make your way towards the end of the runway. The Battle Star that you’re looking for should automatically pop up when you get close, giving you the opportunity to pick it up and add it to your collection. This will bring you one step closer to unlocking the Ruin skin, as well as one step closer to hitting level 100 on your Season 8 Battle Pass.
