Unlike most FPS games out there, if you want to track your stats in Apex Legends, then you’re going to need to jump through a few hoops. The good news is, this guide will tell you everything you need to know to see how you rank in kills, headshots, and more right from the game itself.
Most FPS games out there will allow players to check their stats from a place on the main menu. In Apex Legends, though, Respawn has chosen a different way to show off your stats. That’s where the Trackers for your Banners come into play.
Banners are basically cards that showcase your current Legend, as well as some other information like your Pose, Frame, Badges you’ve earned, and Trackers, which showcase different stats for that particular character. Unlike other games, where stats are clearly portrayed, Apex Legends keeps with the gameshow mentality and has them as items that you can unlock for your Banner.
You can see your stats without unlocking the particular Tracker, however you won’t be able to show that stat off until you’ve unlocked it by getting it from a lootbox or by crafting it with 30 Crafting Metals. Each character will also have three specific Trackers, which you can unlock by crafting them with 30 Crafting Metals. As stated before, you can still see the stats yourself, but if you want to show them off when you’re taking part in matches, then you will need to unlock them.
When you have unlocked a Tracker, you can then equip it in one of three spots on your Banner. These can be changed out whenever you want and will be used to showcase your various stats to the world. While you can find some third-party trackers out there, they all require a bit of hoop jumping, and honestly, the best way to track your stats is already built into the game.
