Get the Service Revolver in Destiny 2

Published , by Josh Hawkins

Originally introduced in Season 3 of Destiny 2, players are now quickly finding themselves wondering how to get the Service Revolver in Destiny 2. With the release of Joker’s Wild, the Legendary Hand Cannon has received some changes, including new random rolls for its perks. If you didn’t pick up this gun back when it was first released, then now is the perfect time to do so. Here’s what you need to know.

How to get the Service Revolver in Destiny 2

When the Service Revolver was originally released back in Season 3, the gun itself was tied to a static roll, which means that the perks were always the same. If you picked up the gun back during that initial season, you can pick it up again from your Collections by purchasing it. Keep in mind that you can only purchase the static roll version of this weapon, which means you won’t be able to search for that perfect roll. Thankfully, though, unlocking it back in Season 3 means that the Service Revolver is already in your loot pool, which means you just need to complete Vanguard Strikes to get a chance at earning it as a drop.

Players can check the roll that Zavala offers on the Service Revolver while speaking to him in The Tower.

You can get The Recluse pinnacle weapon to add even more bite to your arsenal in Destiny 2.

If you haven’t unlocked it at all, though, then you’ll find unlocking the Service Revolver is going to be a bit of a time sink. In order to get the Service Revolver, you will need to complete the Triumph “Season 6: Completions” under the Vanguard tab of the Triumphs book. This Triumph tasks you with completing 40 strikes in the Vanguard Strikes playlist. Your best bet here is to grab your friends and start grinding out the different strikes. Once you complete all 40, and unlock the Triumph, you can purchase the gun itself from Zavala, and then start grinding for the perfect roll. Just keep in mind you’ll need to complete this Triumph during Season 6, or you might miss out again.

You can keep track of how many strikes you've completed in the Triumphs book in your inventory.

With the Service Revolver unlocked, make sure you learn more about Season of the Drifter and what Bungie has planned by heading to the official Destiny 2 website.

Once you know how to get the Service Revolver, unlocking the perfect roll will take time. Complete strikes and try to find a version that gives you the perks you’re looking for.
