Nintendo announces Pokemon Direct airing tomorrow

Published , by Asif Khan

Nintendo is at it again with a Pokemon Direct video presentation planned for tomorrow. The video will contain approximately seven minutes of new Pokemon information, according to Nintendo. Please take a look at the tweet sent out by The Pokemon Company.

The February 2019 Pokemon Direct will air at 9:00 AM ET, so Nintendo fans will have to wake up early to watch it air live.

Both the tweets from Nintendo of America and The Pokemon Company feature the Pokeball Plus accessory, which means that the device may be supported in the new Pokemon for Switch game launching later this year. This could also mean that Nintendo is going to talk about Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee during the rather short video presentation. Nintendo announced a free Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu demo last week.

There are going to be quite a few dedicated Pokemon direct presentations this year, so fans should temper their expectations for tomorrow's short video. It wouldn't be surprising to see The Pokemon Company also mention Pokemon Go tomorrow, as they have added a new AR camera function called Snapshot to the mobile game.

What we do know is that Pokemon fans will have something to talk about tomorrow morning. Tune in at 9:00 AM ET/6:00 AM PT to watch the news live or check back at Shacknews for all the news breaking from the Nintendo Direct

This will be the first Direct since Bowser took over Nintendo of America last week. While the Mushroom Kingdom remains in tumult, it is surprising and delightful to hear that The Pokemon Company has something they want to announce. With two Nintendo Direct presentations this month, it appears that the Big N is kicking the hype machine into full gear. Our bodies are ready.
