Crimson Days 2019 coming soon to Destiny 2

Love is in the air – yes, even for games like Destiny 2. And you can be a part of it, if you want, with Crimson Days.

Destiny 2's Crimson Days will be returning on Tuesday, February 12 with an event similar to last year's. This time, however, a few things have been tweaked, with new rewards added. Up first is Crimson Doubles, the 2v2 Crucible playlist that the event is centered around. The combat scenario on offer here is 2v2 Clash with a twist for each round.

If you stay by your partner, you'll find that your abilities recharge quicker. Get too far away from them, and your enemies will be given a special waypoint that leads to you. If you don't have a partner to play with, the game will find one for you. Additionally, you'll get Valor bonuses throughout the event for Crimson Doubles and other modes in Crucible.

At the beginning of the event, Lord Shaxx will give you a Fire of the Crimson Days emblem and assign you five different Crimson Bounties, which will let you tackle PvE and PvP missions. There are also four daily bounties and one weekly bounty that challenges you to duo the Nightfall with your partner. You'll find plenty of goodies up for grabs if you take part in the event. Shaxx will give out Confectionery Hearts for the Crimson Doubles matches you complete and the Crimson Bounties you tackle, which you can use to buy the various rewards on offer throughout Crimson Days.

There are two new rewards this year, as well as plenty of other cool things to pick up. The Vow, a max power bow that you can buy with Confectionery Hearts is one thing you can grab. Here's a complete list of al lthe items on hand, as well as the amount of hearts you'll need for each purchase:

Further, completing all of the new Crimson Days Triumphs will net you the Sugary Ghost Shell, which makes your Ghost look just like yummy chocolate. There's tons of awesome stuff coming to the event, so if you're looking for a reason to jump back into Destiny 2, this certainly looks like a great one.
