It’s been twenty years since the events of Resident Evil 2, and tonight (well, actually, tomorrow morning) we’re going to relive the horrifying events that Leon and Claire found themselves surviving.
Starting at 3AM PST / 6AM EST, our very own Greg Burke will be playing through Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake with me in the sidelines for moral support. Greg will be doing his best to navigate the creepy halls of Raccoon City Police Department in the new over-the-shoulder perspective, using a controller scheme that won’t melt your brain. Goodbye, tank controls.
As the headline no doubt gave away, today’s Please Take a Look will also include a giveaway. One lucky viewer will win a Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 4. You’ve got to be in it to win it, so don’t sleep on this one – seriously, set an alarm.
It’s been a long time coming, and we here at Shacknews are all pretty excited to be getting our hands on Resident Evil 2. If you haven’t already, check out Brittany Vincent’s excellent review of Resident Evil 2, where she details the vast improvements Capcom has made to the already stellar experience that was on offer in the original.
