Nintendo has a tough act to follow in 2019. Coming off a year that wrapped up with Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there may be some questions surrounding what the publisher will have lined up for this year. Fortunately for those fans, Nintendo has come forward on Tuesday and announced two major release dates, including one for Yoshi's next big console adventure.

Yoshi's Crafted World was first teased back at E3 2017, with Nintendo aiming for a Spring 2019 release. It will indeed make this window, with the game receiving an official March 29 release date. Crafted World is a follow-up of sorts to 2015's Yoshi's Woolly World, with that game's art style being left mostly intact. Yoshi will journey through stages constructed out of everyday items, like boxes and construction paper. In addition to playing levels in a traditional linear style, players will also be challenged to run through the stages backwards, offering the same stage from a different perspective with different challenges.

Nintendo showed off more of the Crafted World concept back during a Nintendo Treehouse stream back in November. This video look showed off both single-player and co-op play. Familiar Yoshi's Island elements will be all over the place, as will Yoshi's adorable sidekick Poochy.

Yoshi isn't the only Nintendo first-party game getting a release date. Kirby is revisiting his Epic Yarn adventure with Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. This is being touted as an enhanced version of the Nintendo Wii original. Kirby will come into the game with new Ravel Abilities, which offer different power-ups like a giant yarn ball that can barrel over any enemies in Kirby's path. The game will also contain mini-games that center around Kirby's supporting cast. Those who found Epic Yarn to be too easy will be happy to see that Extra Epic Yarn will feature a new Devilish mode to amp up the difficulty.

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will release on March 8 on Nintendo 3DS. Amiibo from the Kirby series will be fully compatible with this release and offer up various bonuses.
