Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes trailer features new meta-game

Published , by Brittany Vincent

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes has a new trailer out in the wild, and this one shows us a bit more of what we can expect from one of the "video games" packed inside this video game.

This new footage from Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes revolves around Electric Thunder Tiger II, the first of quite a few different video games protagonist Travis Touchdown will be working to conquer throughout the game.

This iteration of the popular series takes place seven years after the events of the original game, where a former baseball player (now assassin) named Badman is looking to take revenge on Travis Touchdown for murdering his daughter Bad Girl. Travis Touchdown must clash with him as he and Badman find themselves transported into the world of several video games – you know, as it happens in the world of No More Heroes. It looks like an absolute blast, and there are even several indie games represented within the confines of the game world.

Recently, it was confirmed that the game is getting a physical edition as well as the digital edition we already knew about in both North America and Europe. Nintendo will be distributing the physical edition, while Grasshopper Manufacture will self-publish the digital version. The physical version comes with the game (of course) and the Season Pass, though we're not sure what all the Season Pass will be rocking just yet as there haven't been any details shared about it. We believe it will include an extra character, scenario, and stage.

This Nintendo Switch exclusive is set to launch on January 18, 2019. If you're hungry for more things No More Heroes and Suda51, be sure to check out our interview with the man himself, straight out of PAX West 2018.
