The Red Dead Redemption 2 1.04 update itself looks to weigh in at around 1.4GB on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so players shouldn't have to wait too long for the download to complete before they can jump back into the game. Judging by the patch notes, it looks like the 1.04 update is mainly concerned with general stability. Stuttering, lag, and crashing issues that had been bothering players have all been addressed, and the usual type of generic "gameplay improvements" and "performance and stability improvements" have also been included. No specific bug or crash issues seem to have been addressed in the patch notes, but RDR2 fans should hopefully at least notice their game running more smoothly — or, at the very least, no longer notice that it's not running smoothly.
