Nintendo Switch owners don't have to wait much longer to get their next dose of Pokemon. Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eeeve! are both around the corner, with The Pokemon Company revealing some additional features for the Red/Blue reimagining. On top of that, there's a new bundle coming for folks who have still yet to pick up Nintendo's latest console.
The Pokemon: Let's Go Nintendo Switch Bundle will include Joy-Cons that are themed after either Pikachu or Eevee, a digital copy of either Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokemon: Let's Go, Eeeve!, and a Poke Ball Plus. The dock is also decked out to look just like the starter Pokemon.
As for the game itself, a new trailer shows off some additional features that players can expect from the two starters. Each of them will have partner-exclusive moves that can help tremendously over the course of battle. Some of these are atypical of their Pokemon types, such as Pikachu's Water-type Pika Papow move and Eevee's Electric-type Buzzy Buzz moves. Some of these moves will vary in power depending on the player's bond with their starters.
To help develop that bond, players can tap the Pikachu or Eevee bond on the main menu to play around with their partners. They can pet them, play with them, groom them, or otherwise interact with them through the Switch's touch screen in handheld mode. Happy starters can reward their trainers beyond battle, offering special presents throughout the game.
Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eeeve! will debut on Nintendo Switch on November 16. For more information, be sure to revisit our hands-on preview from E3 2018.
