the red/yellow blob looks like a massive patch of flowers, the grey thing under that is actually exposed stone, but sometimes (and Cartograph does this too) rendering programs don't render chunks correctly. It's nothing to be worried about, just a little quirk. It shouldn't look like that in the world.
