Unnamed sources claim Tiger Woods PGA Tour 15 was to be outsourced to give EA time to work on PGA Tour 16 for next-gen consoles, but those plans were ultimately scrapped and the game hasn't been reassigned.

Madden NFL 13 sales up 8%, EA claims 'record sell-through'

Madden NFL 13 is setting some sales records, according to Electronic Arts. The game has sold more than 1.65 million in the first week after its launch on August 28, an eight percent jump from last year's iteration. In addition, players have already participated in the equivalent of 47,000 NFL games in that first week.

BlackSpace announced by EA Tiburon vets

New indie studio PixelFoundry Games has revealed its existence with the announcement of asteroid mining RTS BlackSpace. Described as "combining elements of action with an emphasis on economic and defensive efficiency," it's coming to PC in Q4 2012.
