I love all of you and hope you are all doing well !

After a decade of fighting my weight (and losing) - through depression, injury, IF, low-carb diets, you name it - I have been on Ozempic for 8 weeks as of tomorrow. My glucose had been borderline pre-diabetic (105-110 fasting) for years, so the endocrinologist said we should go for it.

I started with 4 weekly 0.25mg shots, now on weekly 0.5mg shots. Ozempic is the first thing that has helped me lose weight other than total starvation. I have gone from 270 to 250 in these 8 weeks. I am no longer spending all of my waking hours thinking about food, feeling guilty about food, trying to plan my entire life around access to healthy food. It has lifted a burden of food obsession that I thought I would carry forever.

I am excited to weigh myself in the morning, after 10+ years of dread and shame. I don't give two shits whether people think it's cheating or that there's some lurking catch waiting to kill me.

This medication is changing my life. I have cried tears of joy. Ozempic has restored my optimism. All the naysayers can ligma.

Assassin's Creed Mirage 1st impressions: I just wanted to say it is awesome!!!!!!!!!! The performance is 10/10 and I am playing it on MAX native 4K easy 60FPS + on a 7900 XTX with zero stutters and it is probably the most smoothest and best Creed game performances wise to date.

Detail is a massive jump from Valhalla and looks amazing, visuals in general is a huge jump and the characters models have also had a big bump up and the polys are juiced up! My only beef is the Chromatic abbreviation, I hope they let you turn that off.

Beautiful ambient and music that make Baghdad come to life, it feels really cool and probably the best Creed game that makes you really feel like your there. Huge jump up in the world building.

They focus on stealth / rouge right off the bat and it feels like the original Assassin's Creed soul has been resurrected but with the refined gameplay from Origin's and up. The best part you don't feel floaty or none responsive it feels really good and sharp!

Truck loads of options to tweak it even has a FOV slider!

Just a really beautiful game with insane performance, makes me actually say Ubisoft's game engine AnvilNext is really impressive and finally hit that sweet spot and can hang at the top with the big boys! All the issues they have had over the years are finally gone, this is really impressive and a massive win for them, big respect for getting there and keeping at it for I know how that feels and what it takes.

If you want more of that OG Assassin's Creed but with all the good modern stuff this is the ticket, I can already tell it is a huge winner and a classic. The dialogue and voice over work is ace and the writing seems solid, I care to listen to everyone and they also have cool Arabic voice work in the background as ambient talking by NPC's.
