According to Reuters, after Tesla did it's initial layoffs about a month ago and Musk was itching for more, the lead of the Supercharger team resisted any further cuts, leading Musk to fire all 500 ppl from it.

The day before Elon Musk fired virtually all of Tesla’s electric-vehicle charging division last month, they had high hopes as charging chief Rebecca Tinucci went to meet with Musk about the network’s future, four former charging-network staffers told Reuters.

After Tinucci had cut between 15% and 20% of staffers two weeks earlier, part of much wider layoffs, [former employees] believed Musk would affirm plans for a massive charging-network expansion.

The meeting could not have gone worse.

Musk, the employees said, was not pleased with Tinucci’s presentation and wanted more layoffs. When she balked, saying deeper cuts would undermine charging-business fundamentals, he responded by firing her and her entire 500-member team.

And of course they are now trying to refill those positions.

My girlfriend gave me her standing desk and I hate it. I am standing right now while typing this post and I hate almost everything about it. The only advantage I can think this gives me is if a robber entered my home I'd have the tactical advantage of being able to start running faster. I tried to think of a way the desk could accidentally "break", or fall out of the 2nd story window next to me but I don't believe it would fit through the window frame. I could fake a knee injury but she would probably make me go to see a doctor who would rat me out

Do these people not realize that Mormons have figured out how to have sex in their clothes, not touching, on different beds in different rooms in different houses. It *does* take 28 friends to help the couple though.

One time I was playing Duke3d.exe, and this pig cop shotgunned me. My health plummeted down to the red, but I hit v to activate my med kit. Duke said, "Haaaaaa, MUCH better!!"
