Valve opens 'Steam for Schools' education initiative

Valve has opened a "Steam for Schools" initiative, offering a special educators version of Steam that includes Portal 2 and the Portal 2 Puzzle Maker, along with various lesson plans for science, technology, engineering, and math.

Portal 2 adding PlayStation Move support, new levels later this year

The PS3 version of Portal 2 will be getting the MotionPack DLC. Previously exclusive to the Razer Hydra motion controller, this version will use the PlayStation Move controller.

Portal 2 user maps hit 1.3M downloads, celebrates with Steam sale

After only a few days, Portal 2 content creators have made 35,000 maps that have been downloaded 1.3 million times. Steam is hosting a Weekend Workshop sale to mark the occasion.

Defense Grid getting GLaDOS-infused DLC December 7
