Penumbra Dev Unveils Survival Horror FPS 'Unknown'

Independent Swedish developer Frictional Games today released the first bit of footage from its next project, a survival-horror first-person shooter now titled "Unknown."

Building off its work on the first-person adventure series Penumbra, the developer hopes "to make the game as scary and atmospheric as possible," with the below teaser meant to demonstrate the "mood and style" that it hopes to achieve in Unknown.

Powered by Frictional's in-house HPL2 engine and packing the tools necessary for user-created mods, the game is currently due on PC between April and June 2010.
