Apple revealed one more thing for their fans today in the form of the brand new AirPods Max headphones. Please take a look at their reveal trailer.
The company appears to be hellbent on destroying the headphone jack, and this latest wireless headphone product seems to be the next step in their war on connectivity. While the newest model to join the AirPods line is pretty damn expensive, Apple has tried to reinvent ripping off their customers. The geniuses in Cupertino came up with the perfect way to add value and jack up the price, by adding "by dre" at the end of the product's name!
The new AirPods Max by Dre will cost $1000 instead of the already expensive $549 MSRP of the basic AirPods Max. There is talk that Apple will also introduce another AirPods Max Pro by Dre that will cost even more money, but the tech behemoth is in a wait-and-see mode right now. If customers remain dumb enough to support this company as it coasts on the legacy of Steve Jobs, they will keep reinventing and shoveling out overpriced crap for them to buy. Win, win, win.
