Slept in until 3:30 AM, with no plan, but I wanted to go somewhere. Checked the weather and it was starry outside my door, so I went for a drive. I drove out to Index hoping for a sunrise view of Mt. Index. I arrived at 6:15, but didn't like the conditions, so I went back. Stopped at Sultan Bakery for donuts, had a nice drive, then went to the beach.
Sunrise was mostly a bust, but there was a little color. I took a few landscape pictures in Everett and Mukilteo, but mostly I took close-ups on the beach. 21 mildly interesting photos.
A little sunrise color over Everett at 7:34 AM. Center/left is Jetty Island, a nice sandy beach that kite surfers use. To the right is Naval Station Everett.
Walking the beach, there was some blue sky. 7:56 AM.
Ferry going out, 8:03 AM.
This guy was taking photos of an egret. I didn't have my telephoto lens on, so I wasn't worried about it, but you can kind of see it at the tip of the land, center-left. (Yes there are 2 people standing there) 8:10 AM.
Whidbey Island and they Olympics.
Nice purple sea anenome.
This snail was moving fast!
GIF of the snail moving. 6 frames. Testing.
Lots of little bugs!
A few more little bugs. I like how some are sharp but a couple are moving. They were jumping around a lot.
I think this one is cool. Just sand, a rock, and seaweed.
Just sand and a different rock.
A holey rock, with a bunch of my reflections in the water.
Just sand. Ultrawide for mrazzino.
A rock with red spots and barnacles.
A heart shaped rock.
In the picture the inside of this shell looks ultraviolet or something. Only light editing.
Another crab shell interior.
Seaweed. Turkish towel?
Seaweed on the beach.
Just rocks in the water.
That's the end. That's more than enough. Like I said, mildly interesting. I'm still trying to figure out how best to use this Cortex thing, so we'll see how this version goes.
