My top 5 most anticipated TV shows and movies coming in 2021

My top 5 most anticipated TV shows and movies coming in 2021

My totally subjective list, unless you count Cobra Kai, which is objectively awesome.

When the snow starts to pile up I spend more time inside, which is probably not uncommon. It means more television, more movies, and more video games. Knowing this is coming I started digging around for things I couldn't wait to watch, so here is my list. Let me know what yours would look like.

The Witcher Season 2 (December 17, 2021)

Easily my top choice for shows I can't wait to watch. I'm guessing I'll blast through this one in about two days and run on little sleep in the process. The only bummer is that by the time I go to sleep on December 19, I'll have another year-plus wait before the third season.

The Many Saints of Newark (October 1, 2021)

I was a big fan of The Sopranos in my 20s, and getting a bit more of that world in the form of a movie suits me just fine. The fact that a young Anthony Soprano will be played by James Gandolfini's son is intriguing enough for me to check this out.

Top Gun: Maverick (November 19, 2021)

It's probably going to be bad, but I'm going to love it. If all they do is ridiculous stuff in jets while playing the theme song for two hours, it'll be worth every penny for me.

Dexter: New Blood (November 7, 2021)

I enjoyed pretty much every season of Dexter, but man did the wheels fall off and the end there. If ever there was a show that needed a second shot to get the ending right, it's Dexter.

Cobra Kai Season 4 (December 2021)

This one's not up for debate. Cobra Kai is awesome. That is all.
