Arma 3 final campaign episode rolls out next week

The third and final chapter of Arma 3's campaign will launch next Thursday, March 20, developer Bohemia announced today. 'Win' will see the Mediterranean mixup escalating further, into some of that good jolly war fun we all know and enjoy. It'll also bring three new vehicles for everyone to play with in sandbox modes.

World of Tanks Xbox 360 adding 3 new maps in community challenge

Another three maps are coming to the Xbox 360 edition of free-to-playWorld of Tanks, but players will need to get their hands dirty first. Wargaming today announced 'Map Madness,' a community challenge that'll unlock the new levels one-by-one as players destroy millions and millions of tanks. Start waxing your moustache, as it'll all kick off next Tuesday.

DriveClub was taken 'back to the drawing board'

MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios' PlayStation 4-exclusive racer DriveClub was once due alongside the new console, but a month before launch Sony delayed it to the vague period of "early 2014." And we haven't heard much from it since. Sony has now explained that rather than simply polishing up a little, it wanted "go back to the drawing board and make sure the game is great before we ship it."

Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 strikes in April

Any time my little niece is too afraid of monsters under her bed to sleep, I slip a mouse into her hand and tell her: "If you see a monster, simply click on it until it falls over." Then she's out like a light. For those of us too big for such small comforts, who demand more visceral exorcism of demons, action-RPG sequel The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II will launch on PC and Mac on April 17.

Betrayer exploring PC on March 24

The Monolith veterans of Blackpowder Games first launched Betrayer last August through Steam Early Access, and are now almost ready for an actual launch. The spooky 17th century explore-o-FPS will be haunting PC from March 24, the developer announced over the weekend.

Space Noir warping onto PC this summer

Like Los Angeles in the 1940s, space is full of stars flaring up, burning out, fading away, and dying spectacularly. Which is probably not why N-Fusion has named its space shooter Space Noir, but perhaps it should be? Publisher Unity Games today announced the moody space tale, coming to PC and tablets this summer.

New releases of March 10-16

Oh, happy days! Next week will finally bring the launch on Dark Souls II, on consoles at least. We're also seeing the PC and Xbox One launch of Titanfall, Yoshi's New Island for 3DS, TowerFall Ascension on PC and PS4, and oh, some other pretties too.

Galak-Z blasting onto Vita too

A roguelike-like top-down space shooter citing the likes of Halo games and Far Cry 3 as inspirations for its combat is a game of interest, so how pleasant that Galak-Z: The Dimensional is coming to another platform. Developer 17-bit today announced that it'll blast onto Vita, as well as PC and PlayStation 4, later this year.

Defense Grid 2 also invading PS4 and Xbox One

The thrills, spills, and intricate mazes of tower defense are coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Defense Grid 2, publisher 505 Games has announced. Hidden Path's original Defense Grid: The Awakening was one of the slickest TDs around in 2008, so its sequel should fit in nicely on next-gen consoles. It's still on for PC, Mac, and Linux editions this year too, of course.

Xbox One Twitch video explains it all

Twitch streaming will finally launch on Xbox One next Tuesday, with the launch of an update which makes the Twitch app actually useful. Microsoft has whipped together a video demonstrating exactly how it'll all work, from setting up your own stream to watching your chums. You know: streaming.
