New Nintendo Switch Bundle Available at GameStop

A wild Nintendo Switch bundle appeared!

As of now, Nintendo’s home console/portable hybrid is still pretty hard to come by, selling out within minutes of being restocked at stores. If you’re willing to drop an extra couple hundred bucks, GameStop has just revealed a new bundle.

The bundle contains a Nintendo Switch (grey or neon joy-con), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and a 128GB memory card for the not-so low price of $499.99. Roughly speaking, you’d probably save around $25-$30 if you were to buy all of these items separately; but since the Switch is scarce, that’s not really an option. This new bundle is currently available, and in stock on GameStop’s website and will begin shipping on May 5.

Is this a fair deal? Or is GameStop being shady for withholding Switch consoles in order to push bundles and make more cash? Let us know over in the Chatty!

I went into a GameStop last week to look for the red joy-con. To hide my shame for walking into their store I shaved my head first so no one would recognize me.

Honestly it isn't that bad of a bundle. Zelda is a given for the Switch. And Mario Kart is great. At least it isn't like 1-2 switch or anything.

I was in a GameStop the other day and they had several (presumably empty) Switch boxes with $299.99 price tags on them. I'm not sure if that means they were for sale or if they were fucking with me (didn't buy one) but I don't think that at the stores the bundles are the only way to buy them.

Fucking gamestop does this bullshit and it pisses me off.

They put a bunch of empty boxes out of shit they don't actually have in stock to show what they COULD have in stock.

I got my roommate/tenant all amped up at one point to go get some neon joycons there, and she drove all the way to the mall and then they were like "lol nah we don't actually have them, we just put boxes out to show what we might have in stock some day" ????
