Hitting 3DS on June 27 players will be able to craft and design their own games which they can then upload and share for other players to experience. RPG Maker FES will be available in both standard and special editions.

One of the weirder games detailed at today’s direct, Miitopia is a game where players can create Mii characters of their friends and family for “a customized RPG experience.” The game will be turn-based, the Mii’s you create will serve as party members. Miitopia is set to launch later this year.

Coming from HAL Laboratory, a developer that gamers may recognize as the team behind the Kirby series, Bye-Bye BoxBoy! Is a puzzle-platformer and serves as the third (and final) installment in a trilogy of games. There is currently a demo available for all three BoxBoy titles in the eShop, starting today.
