During Nintendo's Direct livestream, the company divulged more details on its one-on-one fighter Arms coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. First and most importantly, Arms is slated to launch on June 16.

An animated commentator ran down details on how Arms handles combat, characters, and strategies. All arms are extensible, and players can swap arms to mix and match abilities. In addition to one-on-one combat, there will be a two-on-two mode for players to tag-team friends.

Nintendo premiered a new character named Min Min, who attacks with a flurry of punches and... kicks? Looks like they're not holding any big ideas back for the 2019 sequel, Legs.

To prepare your living room and Switch for two-on-two Arms races, Nintendo will release Neon Yellow Joy-Cons and battery packs to extend the peripherals battery life.

You'll be able to go Arms-on with Arms when it hits Nintendo Switch on June 16.
