Nintendo has released a new update for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch and Wii U, which brings the game to version 1.1.2. This update brings several small changes, but most notable are the removal of the Wolf Link Amiibo and infinite arrow exploits.

Players quickly discovered that when they scan a Wolf Link Amiibo into the game that their companion would be summoned with a maximum number of hearts. Following the new update, the legitimate way to achieve this phenomenon is to make it through the Cave of Trials in Twilight Princess HD.

This patch also sees the end of the infinite arrows exploit, where some arrows fired by enemies could be picked up by the player, and this process could just be repeated over and over again until the player was satisfied with the amount of free arrows they had obtained. As of now, the number of arrows one can pick up after being fired upon by an enemy has been capped off at 20.

Nintendo describes the new update as “adjustments to make for a more pleasant gaming experience”
