Final Fantasy XV is getting two updates in successive weeks in February, bringing PS4 Pro support, a higher level cap and a revised chapter to the popular RPG. The details were released in a Active Time Report livestream (translation via Gematsu) . The first update coming on February 21 will add support for Sony's souped up console offering full HD with a maximum 60fps support. In addition, the level cap will be raised to 120, limited time quests for Hunts are coming, and photo capacity is being raised from 150 to 200. Finally, the ability to play music while riding a Chocobo will be added.

Also coming on February 21 is a Booster Pack+ which will include a Boost Sword weapon, a Dragon Mod fishing rod and Aviol reel. The limited-time-use invincible Magitek Exosuits were supposed to come out on the same day, but have been delayed since the publisher of the Power Rangers felt the suits were a bit too similar.

The following month, on March 28, Chapter 13 of the game will be released, adding more end-game content. The Gladiolus Episode will also become available, which will offer more of a side story for Gladio. Gilgamesh may also be involved.

Other tidbits unveiled:

  • A Prompto character development episode is coming in June.
  • A survey will be coming asking fans what they want to see in future updates
  • The ability to drive the Regalia off-road is currently in the works
  • The Platinum demo for the game will be removed for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on March 31.

Check out the video of the livestream below. It's in Japanese, but you get to see DLC details from 10:13 to 11:10, and free drive gameplay from 50:33 to 52:16.
