For Honor's closed beta just ended this past weekend. If you weren't lucky enough to get into this one, then you'll be happy to know that an open beta will be coming the weekend of February 9-12.

The open beta will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players to choose from Viking, Samurai or Knight factions to their multiplayer battles. A new best-of-five, 4v4 Elimination mode with no respawns, as well as Dominion, Brawl and Duel modes. The War of the Factions from the closed beta will continue during the open beta, giving the winners extra perks once the game launches on February 14.

To promote the open beta, Ubisoft and the For Honor team will be hosting a Twitch livestream on February 7 featuring some celebrity participants, including Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene from The Walking Dead), Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones), and MMA champ Demetrious Johnson.

If you plan to get into the open beta on PC, make sure your rig is up to speed. And check out some of our early guides for tips on how to play.
