New trailer previews Coastline, the next DLC map for Rainbow Six: Siege

Fun (and bullets) in the sun.

Ubisoft uploaded a trailer that gives a run-through of Coastline map, the map included in Rainbow Six: Siege's Operation Velvet Shell expansion.

Set under a bright sky and buttressed against sandy surf and crystalline waters, Coastline takes place in the La Perla Blanca resort located in Ibiza, Spain.

Coastline exudes beauty and typifies the idea of fun in the sun—until the bullets start flying. According to Ubisoft, the map's designers fashioned it to "drive a surround flow of combat for a final rush at its core."

As with Siege's Year One content, Coastline and every other map included in Year Two expansions will be available to all players for free. The operators are free for players who purchase a season pass for Year Two, but other players can unlock them using in-game currency or real money.

Velvet Shell is the first of several planned updates in Rainbow Six Siege's second year of DLC offerings. The expansion includes two operators, but their identities and abilities have not been revealed as of this writing.
